I am Jasmine Ayo-Ajayi and I’m just a child of God trying to figure life out. I’m an aspiring lawyer and I just started a food business called “Made of Yah”, you guys should definitely check that out here!In my free time I enjoy meditation, drinking boba and having edifying conversations with my friends.
Self-sabotage to me stems from unworthiness and rejection. I have personally done to this to myself, especially earlier in my walk when I didn’t know how to receive gifts from God. He’d bless me with great friends and I would get in the way of those friendships because I didn’t think I was worthy enough to have them because of my past.
WHEW! So I always knew that God was real and I would follow Him eventually (maybe 25-26) but he snatched me up at 19. He pulled me out at such a perfect time, dealing with depression, drugs, anger and so much more. I thought because of my circumstances I was not redeemable. My life has honestly gotten SO much better in places I had no hope. He brought me light and life.
So before I came to Christ, I struggled HEAVILY with the fact that my aesthetic wasn’t “Christian”. It honestly made me pull from God further because I never saw how my fashion and Him could come together if my whole life I’ve heard something else. That video was made to encourage not only Christians but alternative and creative people out there that God is for you TOO! God is the most creative One out there and when He made you He just gave you an extra sprinkle of it.
My current business endeavor is my new food business called “Made of Yah”. I’ve always loved to cook and now I am seeking to do it more professionally. I don’t think I have self-sabotaged my business directly but indirectly I don’t see it as big as God sees it which can be a form of it.

Something that keeps me encouraged daily is knowing that God is always directing my steps Proverbs 3:5-6. If you’re starting any type of goal whether it be body goal, business goal- know that if you are trusting in the Lord He will not lead you astray. Make room for mistakes and give yourself grace when it happens. And sometimes others won’t see the vision that God gave you and that’s okay, feeling like that brings me closer to Him and forms a deeper level of intimacy
