God is Bigger: Take Advantage of this Quarantine

In the mix of mass hysteria, it is hard to see the forest for the trees. But there is someone who created the trees and the birds and me and you. God. Things seem out of control but in the grand scheme, they aren’t. Things are going to be ok and play out how they play out. But are you going to sit glued to your tv and wait for the world to implode or the Rapture to ensue? Do something productive. Put down the ground work for your promising future.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Meaning Fret not. Don’t let this time of quarantine be whittled away by fear and anxiety. Remember that we all die one day, but what did we accomplish while we’re here. Turn that fear of this Corona upside down. Of course, take the necessary precautions to stay safe and healthy. But take this time by the reigns like you’ll never see it again and produce fruit that will grow into something bigger than what you’d be able to do on your regular schedule.
What are those things that you complain about never having time to do…is it reading a book that could help you in the long run? Is it finishing all that client work that you’ve been procrastinating on because it seems so daunting? Yep, that’s me! (I’m working on it btw, to all of my clients reading this) Get on it! (I yam, I yam) Is it creating that website and finishing that business plan? Maybe is it taking time to read your Bible instead of just your Verse of the Day? Do it.
